Some places are not built, they are imagined. José Banús knew it: a "luxury marina" was not enough; what he dreamed of was a sanctuary. Not for boats, but for beauty. A haven where sea and ambition converge on the famed Costa del Sol.


Puerto Banús, one of Spain’s most exclusive marinas, is not just a port, No! It’s a statement. Each vessel that enters its waters glides in quietly, as if crossing into legend. Marble-lined docks, swaying palms, and the scent of distant lands drift through over 900 berths, welcoming "Super yachts" up to 50 meters. But its scale is not what defines it, its atmosphere does.

 

Here, "luxury sailing" becomes a language, and elegance, a natural rhythm. Concierge services, discreet security, refined maintenance, and a living runway of haute couture, fine dining, and exquisite timepieces tell the story of a marina that transcends purpose.

Before the name La Patrona became known across elite polo circles, it was simply a remote patch of untamed land in Nayarit, Mexico. No clear vision, no defined strategy—just potential waiting to be realized.

I was brought in not to decorate a project, but to define its soul. As the lead strategist behind the transformation, I developed the entire brand identity and experience, from concept to global launch. This included:
